Walmart, Target, Sephora and more deals to buy – WWD

Like last year, Black Friday 2021 promises to be different.

Several large retailers are restarting the Black Friday shopping event early, with many selling periods starting in early November. The move is largely due to the ongoing pandemic, with retailers responding to supply chain bottlenecks and product shortages, and giving customers more time to shop for the holiday season. Many retailers are also continuing last year’s practice of closing their stores on Thanksgiving Day in order to thank their associates and reduce the spread of COVID-19.

Retailers like Best Buy, Walmart, Macy’s and others have already revealed their Black Friday shopping events, with more to make their announcements in the coming weeks.

Here, WWD summarizes how several major retailers are doing Black Friday 2021. Read on to find out more.

This article will be updated as retailers announce their Black Friday initiatives.

Amazon

Amazon continues its tradition of offering a longer holiday sale period that began in early October. The deals are available on Amazon’s “Epic Deals” page and cover virtually all of its categories, including fashion, beauty, home, electronics and more.

Throughout October and November, Amazon will be offering more in-depth deals on certain merchandise. It is currently in the middle of its Holiday Beauty Haul savings event, its first beauty-specific shopping event, where the company is offering up to 40 percent off skin care products, hair care, color cosmetics and perfumes.

Best buy

Best Buy Inc. kicks off the holiday shopping season early, offering Black Friday deals starting November 19, a week earlier than Black Friday itself.

The retailer has deals on many of its electronics, including savings on smart TVs from Samsung, LG and Sony and on Apple products like the new iPhone 13 and iPad.

JCPenney

JCPenney will also begin offering Black Friday deals from November 1 through the rest of the month in the fashion, home, beauty and more categories. The retailer also offers its Joy Sweepstakes during the holiday shopping season, where customers can win prizes when they shop. Prizes include gift cards, electronics, and a trip to Los Angeles.

Macy’s

Macy’s launches its Black Friday deals on November 3, with new deals featured weekly across all of its categories. All Black Friday offers will then be offered between November 23 and 27. Some offers include 40-50% off men’s and women’s boots, 50% off designer handbags, 50% off select beauty products, 60% off select household items, and 65% reduction in sheets and bedding.

Sam’s club

The membership-based retailer is running Black Friday deals from November 25-28. Called Thanks-Savings, Sam’s Club will offer discounts on its products in all categories. On November 25, customers will only find Black Friday sales online, as the retailer will close stores on Thanksgiving Day.

Zipporah

Sephora is offering holiday shopping deals starting November 5 with its Holiday Savings Event for Beauty Insider members. Each retailer membership level gets different discounts: its Rouge members get a 20% discount, its VIB members get a 15% discount, and insiders get a 10% discount on their purchases until November 15. Sephora will again be offering more deals as Black Friday approaches.

Target

Target launched its Black Friday savings initiative on October 31, with the retailer announcing that it will run new week-long deals every Sunday on electronics, toys, housewares, appliances, clothing, beauty and more. The deals include $ 100 off the Beats headphones and $ 200 off the 15.6-inch laptop from HP.

From November 4-6, Target will have additional offerings, such as the 65-inch Element Smart TV for $ 299.99 (originally $ 649.99), the Keurig K-Mini for $ 49.99 (at the original $ 89.99) and the Bose QuietComfort headphones at $ 179.99 (originally $ 299.99).

Walmart

Walmart is holding its second annual “Black Friday Deals for Days” initiative starting November 3 and running through the end of the month. The initiative provides customers with deals on all of the retailer’s product categories, including deals on electronics, toys, appliances, housewares, clothing and more.

The retailer will post savings opportunities throughout the month, with offers on November 3 and 10. The remaining days of the offer have yet to be revealed.
