UOAA invites employees to shop at Nike’s corporate store

Through the University of Oregon Alumni Association’s partnership with Nike, OU employees and family members are encouraged to shop at the Nike Company Store in Beaverton between Oct. 22 and November 20 with a one-time purchase pass.

This is only the second time Nike has opened its doors for a one-month shopping window to UOAA members and UO employees. Although the shopping pass is only valid for one day, it can be used at any time during the four-week period.

To access the store, faculty and staff will need to print a copy of the shopping pass flyer or have it available on a cell phone along with their UO ID and issued ID by the government for themselves, their spouse or partner, and any dependent children aged 15 and over. The member’s spouse or partner must provide proof of the same address to accompany the member to the store, while dependent children must be 22 or younger with the same address, or 24 or younger with ID valid and the same address.

Access to the company store offers up to 40% off Nike footwear and apparel, with a purchase limit per transaction/pass of 30 items or $3,000 before the discount. A complete list of Nike Company Store rules and regulations, including details on bringing household members, is available from the UOAA.

All faculty and staff are welcome to become members of the OU Alumni Association for as little as $45 for an individual annual membership. In addition to annual access to the Nike Company Store, members also enjoy the Alumni Association Member Rewards Package. These include quarterly shopping windows at Columbia employee stores nationwide, a 20% annual coupon for The Duck Store, early access to purchase Ducks football tickets before the general public, and even more.

Dues allow the UOAA and its chapters to provide scholarships to UO students and support the association’s programs, which connect alumni, current students and the UO.
