Apparel Group India plans to expand to many cities

Apparel Group India is looking to expand its brands to cities like Vadodara, Indore, Kochi, Trivandrum, Amritsar and Ludhiana where demand for brands is growing.

Abhishek Bajpai, CEO of Apparel Group India, said that as many new malls are springing up, the group plans to expand its brands to these cities.

Overall, the group has over 1,900 retail stores and over 75 brands across all platforms, while employing over 16,500 multicultural employees.

He recently launched a US-based company Victoria’s Secret first physical store in Mumbai and has a portfolio of several other international brands like ALDO, Charles and Keith under the franchise agreement.

The group plans to launch another Victoria’s Secret offline store in Delhi before the end of this year.

ALDO has also announced esteemed Indian actress Janhvi Kapoor as ALDO India Brand Ambassador to launch a festive collection.

Abhishek believes high-end fashion and lifestyle brands have the capacity to grow exponentially in India. The group therefore plans to extend its portfolio of international brands to metropolises and other level cities in India.
